The Publication
Privacy
The privacy baseline for OREBA.org: reading access, absence of analytics and account forms, external source links and information sent by editorial email.
This page describes the features implemented in this publication. The articles and reference pages can be read without creating an account or submitting personal information.
Reading the website
The application does not install analytics, advertising trackers, account systems or newsletter forms. It does not set application cookies or store reading preferences in browser storage. Fonts and editorial images are served locally by the application.
Article and publication filters use URL parameters. They do not require a personal profile. Standard requests still carry technical information such as an IP address and browser request headers to the server that serves the page. The application does not create a visitor-tracking database.
External sources
References link to publishers, institutions, archived pages and official conference sites. Following an external link opens a separate service with its own privacy practices. No external scientific source is embedded as a tracking widget or registration form on this site.
Editorial correspondence
When an editorial email channel is available, using it sends the information included in your message through your email service and the recipient’s service. Include only the information needed to explain the correction or source suggestion. This application does not provide an email-submission form or process attachments.
Future changes
The privacy description will need review if hosting arrangements, analytics, forms or other data-processing features change. Specific hosting log and retention practices are not configured in this local version. Material changes should be described here before the relevant feature becomes available.
The contact page gives the currently available correspondence information. This page was last revised on 5 October 2026.
